Design: tubular, overlapping

Purpose and scope

This self-shielding flux-cored wire is designed for mechanized arc welding of metal structures of general purpose low-carbon and low alloyed steels in flat position. The wire can be easily adopted for welding in the field conditions or when performing mounting and assembling works.

Welding and technological properties

Welding on dirty metal or metal covered with thin layer of scale or rust is admitted. It is used for repair welding or restoration of geometry shape of parts for railroad cars. For example, restoration of geometry shape of partsmade of steel castings.
Typical objects of application are as follows: building metal structures, technological vessels and pipelines, parts and components of agricultural machinery, as well as for surfacing of mining equipment and parts of railroad cars etc.

Welding technology

The welding is performed at reverse polarity of welding current — DC (+)
